Pictures don't do this handmade beaded necklace justice. This handmade lampwork bead looks like a delicate sea creature. This beautiful borosilicate lampwork bead was made by artisan Steve Rhoades of Kansas City. Click on the second image for a close-up of Steve's work. The lampwork bead is combined with African opal, riverstone and Thai Hill Tribes silver. Japanese Delica beads form the "tentacles" or tassels as they are popularly called. The handmade beaded necklace is 18" long and is fastened with a sterling silver toggle.
