The handcrafted necklace is made from red sponge coral, sometimes call red apple coral.This type of coral is stabilized with a resin and dyed to get the rich color. The red sponge coral in tis gloreous necklace is enhanced by several sets of decorative sterling silver bead caps and turquoise colored glass seed beads. The clasp on this 17 1/2" (44.5 cm) handmade beaded necklace is a sterling silver S-clasp. This necklace required a little extra slack to allow it to curve on the neck because of the size of the beads. This means that when it hangs straight (which it won't on your neck) you will see a small amount of the beading wire.
