I've never seen another stone like this. It was simply labeled "Jasper". It's purple with a hint of smoke and a flash of orange running through it. I have put it with some Bali .925 silver arrowhead shaped beads and a mix of various other semi-precious gemstones including red agate, amethyst and quartz. The handcrafted beaded necklace is 16" long and has a two inch expander chain to bring the total length to 18". It is fastened with a sterling silver lobster clasp.
