The beautiful octagonal pendant in this handcrafted beaded necklace is feldspar. Most of the feldspar I've bought has dark brown in a beige ground but not this one! The pale neutrals are perfect for any season. I have used African opal puff squares and round riverstone beads and some Thai Hill Tribes Silver beads (fine silver - purer than sterling) to give a bit of sparkle. The handcrafted beaded necklace is 17" long and fastened with a sterling silver lobster claw clasp. This necklace was featured in Colored Stone magazine in an article about using feldspar in jewelry.
